One of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu Han. Surrendered to Liu Bei after a failed rebellion against Cao Cao. Instrumental in helping Liu Bei conquer Cheng Du.
Historically, Ma Chao didn't rebel to avenge his father. Rather, Ma Chao's Xi Liang coalition rebelled first. Cao Cao executed Ma Teng and the rest of the Ma clan in retalliation.
